Thanks for wanting to learn more about the bakery! My name is Jessica, I am the Baker and Founder of Daffodil Bakery.
My Story
I started Daffodil Bakery on the simple idea that everyone should be able to have a birthday cake without making it themselves. Every cake we make is Vegan and we offer grain, gluten, and nut free cake.

Daffodil Bakery is currently operated out of my home kitchen under Michigan cottage food law. All cakes are made in a home kitchen that has not been inspected by the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development. Frequently Asked Questions
Is every cake Vegan?
Yes. Every cake offered by Daffodil Bakery is vegan and uses vegan ingredients. Our buttercream is made with Earth Balance brand butter and Pioneer brand powdered sugar. Both brands are certified vegan.
Can I get a cake dye free?
Absolutely. Our cakes are not dye free by default, but they can be made that way, even the confetti cake can be made with sprinkles made without artificial dye, though the colors will not be as vibrant.
Do you deliver?
I can deliver to the Lansing area, but not beyond that.
What if I want a crazy looking cake I saw on online?
That's the most exciting thing you could say to me. I want to make your dream cake happen, feel free to throw a crazy idea at me, and we'll work together to make something you will love.
